Context and testimonials : PARAQUAD SA has officially opened five houses specifically designed for residents using wheel chairs. The accommodation is to provide short to medium term wheelchair accessible housing for use by people who have sustained a spinal cord injury and have finished rehabilitation in Adelaide. Manager of Accommodation and Property Services, PARAQUAD SA, Heather Hales said the brief was to design houses that were accessible, affordable, environmentally responsible and most important, fun to be in. “Gerflor was chosen for the flooring because it responded to all those requirements and it also suited the contemporary design of the houses,” Heather said. “It is easy for the residents to use their wheelchairs on and is very much an easy care product and once again, most importantly, looks great!"
