Royal Women's Hospital, MelbourneCountry : AustraliaActivité : Healthcare Floor gives life to the Tree of Life. Date of installation : 2008-11-03 Surface installed : 4700 sqm
Context and testimonials : Interior Designer, Aldona Pajdak drew inspiration from the Japanese Cherry Blossom to create a tranquil space for anxious parents visiting premature babies at the new Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. “The flooring had to be vinyl for hygiene and maintenance reasons and cushion backed because the nurses are on their feet all day. I chose the Gerflor products because of the simplicity of the design of the actual product. They offered a nice blend of homogeneous colour with an interesting fleck,“ Aldona explained.
