Tramp

Despite its name, Tramp is anything but trashy. This fashion house recently re-opened after an extensive refit that has raised the bar in store ambience.

Tramps’ owner, Helen Atelj “wanted a casual, relaxed atmosphere so our shoppers could feel welcome and comfortable”.

The big, open plan nature of the store called for something pretty striking on the floor. It had to be practical but also contribute to Helen’s overall design objectives.

Morgan and Nicholas Long from Better Floors in Wollongong supplied the Tramps installation. “The layers installed it all in one day and were really pleased with the way it stood up to the painters and tradesmen coming in and out in their work boots. Helen and her staff love it because it’s soft and quiet,” Morgan said.
