After almost three decades and thousands of events, the Illawarra Hockey Centre has replaced its indoor stadium’s Gerflor multi-purpose playing surface. Gerflor’s new Taraflex Sport M Evolution 7.5mm quality with additional Ecofit D-Max+ structural fibreglass grid delivers the latest technology with even more performance, comfort and safety.
The Illawarra Hockey Centre stadium is home to lllawarra Indoor Hockey and Illawarra Volleyball. It has also hosted many other sports over the years including floorball, futsal, table tennis and recently boccia as well as school activities. Other non-sport uses have included trade fairs, specialty car shows, expos and many other events.
